ARNP or PA for SMC Primary & Urgent Care Clinic

Full time befitted. New opportunity to help develop SMC Primary & Urgent Care Clinic. This position requires a licensed ARNP or PA legal to practice in Idaho to work in a primary and urgent care setting. Candidate will work as part of a dynamic team. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners must have specialized skill, knowledge, and be authorized by rules of the Idaho State Board of Medicine and the Idaho State Board of Nursing to perform medical acts of diagnosis, prescription of medical therapeutic and corrective measures, delivery of corrective measures and delivery of medications. Must apply and be accepted as a member of the SMC Medical Staff. Must have current State of Idaho ARNP or PA License, current DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance License. Must be current BCLS, ACLS, PALS. TNCC or ATLS preferred.



Per Diem Position

Under limited supervision and as assigned by Manager, this position produces sonographic scans for medical diagnosis. Involves positioning patients and adjusting equipment appropriately to produce diagnostic ultrasound scans. Records pertinent information relating to the production of the ultrasound scans. Maintains assigned work area in a neat and orderly condition. Provides written, unofficial preliminary reports of examination to the radiologist and any other physician. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program. Prefer one (1) year hospital experience as an Ultrasound Technologist working in the area to be assigned (i.e. OB/GYN, general abdomen, small part ultrasound, vascular, and interventional procedures). American Heart Association BLS-C certification required. Must be certified by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Candidate must have knowledge of computers, anatomy, physiology, ultrasound equipment, safety hazards common to Ultrasound equipment used, isolation procedures and body fluid precautions. Other duties as assigned.



Full-time, Benefited Position (30-40 hours a week)

Selected candidates will admit patients, insurance verification, data entry, scanning documents, accepting patient payments and provide excellent customer service. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent, one year previous clerical experience in the hospital setting preferred, type 50 wpm, 10 key and are able to operate standard business office equipment.
