About Our Program
Shoshone Medical Center’s Infusion Service Program offers cost effective and convenient means for patients who require frequent infusions of medications, including those with central lines. We work with a diverse population of patients including:
- Patients with blood disorders
- Patients requiring intravenous antibiotics
- Patients requiring frequent medication injection
- Patients requiring central line care

Services and treatments provided include, but are not limited to:
- Central line catheter care
- Chemotherapy infusions
- Hydration therapy
- IV Antibiotic therapy
- IV Immune globulin
- Intramuscular injections
- Subcutaneous injections
- Therapeutic phlebotomy
- Administration of blood and blood component therapy
- Administration of IV Iron
- Porta-cath care and management
Patient Conveniences
These conveniences are offered to make the patient’s treatment as comfortable as possible:
- Comfortable atmosphere with recliner chairs or beds available
- In-room cable TV and magazines
- On-site X-ray and laboratory services
- Warm blankets, snacks and beverages
- Flexible scheduling
- Caring, professional staff
To Help us Provide Efficient, Quality Care, Please:
- Adhere to appointment time
- Bring your physician’s order
- Bring your current insurance card
- Bring a current list of medications with accurate dosage and directions
- Bring a current list of allergies and reactions
- Be aware that early arrival may increase waiting time
- Call if you are going to be late
- Call 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment
- Call if you have any questions

Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm (for routine, non-emergent appointments)
If you need services outside of regular hours to accommodate your scheduled treatment regimen, our team will set up a schedule just for you.
