Rehabilitation Services Manager
Cory is a Silver Valley native practicing physical therapy for over 10 years. He is the area’s only board certified specialist in both orthopedics, and manual therapy. Cory serves on many advisory board and committees related to physical therapy, and is currently the president of the Idaho Physical Therapy Association.
Meghan Waters, PT, DPT
Meghan was born and raised in northern New Mexico. She graduated in 2007 from Adams State College with an undergraduate degree in Human Performance and Physical Education. She then attended Northern Arizona University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2011. After graduation, Meghan and her husband moved to the Silver Valley to start her career at SMC. She and her husband were blessed with a son in 2014 and they enjoy exploring the outdoors of the Silver Valley.
Emma Stayduhar, PT, DPT
Emma Stayduhar received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN in 2015. After interning at SMC in 2013, she decided to return to the Silver Valley to start her career as a physical therapist. Her interests lie in the incorporation of Yoga in her Physical therapy Practice and vestibular rehab for the treatment of dizziness and balance.
Ginny Rinaldi, PTA
Virginia “Ginny” Rinaldi is a Bachelor of Science graduate from the University of Idaho and received her Physical Therapist Assistant Certification from Spokane Falls Community College. She is a North Idaho native with roots in St. Maries, Coeur d’Alene, and the Silver Valley. Ginny has been a part of the Shoshone Medical Center Physical Therapy Team since 2014.
Cara Cox, PTACara was born and raised here in the Silver Valley. After graduating from Wallace High School in 2007, she attended and graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at North Idaho College and achieved board certification in April of 2016. She now lives with her husband and 3 year old son in Osburn, ID.
The Shoshone Medical Center physical therapy department provides outpatient orthopedic assessment and treatment for a variety of conditions including low back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain and dysfunction as well as pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation. SMC rehab also offers sports physical therapy to get athletes of all ages back in the game!
SMC rehab offers school sports concussion screening
The Shoshone Medical Center Rehabilitation Department is pleased to offer “Impact” – Post concussion screening to area athletes. Impact testing is a valid and reliable way to measure the brains ability to concentrate, think, and problem solve after a brain injury.
Vestibular rehabilitation services offered:
Comprehensive assessment and treatment for a variety of dizziness and balance issues including vertigo, disequilibrium, BPPV, vestibular neuritis, Meniere’s disease, vestibular migraines, and post-concussion syndrome.
Sean Curran, MS, CCC-SLP
Sean Curran received his bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology from Humbolt State University, and his master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of New Mexico in 1994. He has been working in the Sliver Valley since 1997 with all age groups and diagnoses. He has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, home health and skilled nursing facilities. Sean has a strong interest in treating neurogenic and swallowing deficits.
Services offered: Evaluation and treatment of problems in the areas of expressive and receptive language, concentration, and critical thinking. Sean also specializes in assessing and treating swallowing deficits.
Joanne Bonner, OTR/L-CLT, CFLE
Joanne was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She graduated in 2008 from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with an undergraduate degree in Social Work and Family Studies. She then attended College of Saint Mary to receive her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2013. Joanne, and her family, moved to the Silver Valley in January of 2016 to continue her career in occupational therapy with SMC. Joanne’s passions lie in family, holistic health, and the practice of yoga.
Evaluation and treatment of upper body dysfunction, pain, and injury which prevents the patient from accomplishing their day to day tasks (work, self cares, leisure activities). Joanne also treats pediatric patients with Sensory Processing Disorder and runs a Lymphedema Management Program.
