The SMC Foundation is committed to obtaining funding to help meet the healthcare needs of the Silver Valley by providing equipment, services, and education to Shoshone Medical Center and the community it serves. Throughout the year, we have activities such as free educational lunches, scholarships, health fairs as well as fundraising events.
This year we are fundraising to support the expansion and improvement of services for the Respiratory Therapy Department at Shoshone Medical Center. We are seeking funds for new equipment that will offer multiple therapies to more efficiently clear airways, and reduce or prevent atelectasis (airway collapse), in turn reducing hospital stays and improving outcomes for patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions.
SMC Foundation is seeking support for their upcoming Golf Event Fundraiser.
The SMC Foundation Golf Event fundraiser will be taking place at The Pinehurst Golf Course on August 14, 2025 from Noon – 5:00pm. The event will consist of a 9-hole golf scramble, as well as fundraising activities such as a “Put for Prizes”, Silent Auction and 50/50 Ticket Drawing. A box lunch is provided at registration and appetizers at the end of the event.
We are asking for your support in any of the following ways:
- A sponsorship donation
- A donation item for the silent auction
- Purchase tickets to the event
- Any cash donations are also welcome
