Upper endoscopy (EGD)

Enables the physician to diagnose and treat certain conditions of the GI tract:

• Abdominal pain
• Difficulty swallowing
• Nausea / Vomiting
• Heartburn
• Anemia
• Unexplained weight loss
• Blood in stool

Lower Endoscopy (Colonoscopy)

Colorectal Screening is recommended on patients:

• Over 45
• Personal history of polyps or colon cancer
• Family history of polyps or colon cancer

Enables the physician to investigate intestinal disorders:

• Chronic constipation
• Chronic diarrhea
• Rectal bleeding
• Abdominal pain
